FRANÇOIS ST-ARNAUD, LLB, LLM
LAWYER
Mr François St-Arnaud has more than 20 years of experience in Commercial Law and Financing. He has participated in more than 100 financial transactions of all sizes and kinds (senior debt, equity, asset-based lending, sub-debt) and in various countries.
He has first practiced in a private firm for 8 years, representing mainly large financial institutions. He then has joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ (total assets of 7 Billion $) where he has contributed to the completion of dozens of financing and M&A transactions in Canada and various countries such as: China, Chili, Germany, Senegal, Cuba, Guinea, Gabon and Qatar.
He has also managed a venture capital fund, FODEX, as its CEO for 4 years, helping Quebec companies exporting their goods and services in foreign countries. Over that period of time, FODEX was particularly active in the Middle-East.
Mr St-Arnaud is helding a bachelor in Law from the Sherbrooke University, a Master degree of Law from the University of Edinburgh and a diploma in finance. He is also member of the Quebec Bar and has been appointed as director on many boards of directors, both of private and public companies.
BERTIN THÉRIAULT, BSC, MBA
FINANCIAL ANALYST
Mr Bertin Thériault has 25 years of experience in financing, having participated to the structuring of more than 70 transactions of all sizes and in various sectors of activities. Mr Thériault has worked for several financial insitutions such as Fonds FTQ, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec and Telsoft (Telesystemes).
Thereafter, Mr Thériault has set in place its own consulting firm specialized in financial modeling and financial engineering. He had been involved in mandate all around the Globe and had worked in Algeria, Benin, Cameroun, United-States, France, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Philippines, Reunion Island and Tunisia.
Mr. Thériault has been appointed on many boards of directors and has acted as CFO of a public company.
Mr. Thériault holds an MBA in finance from Université Laval and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Université du Québec à Rimouski. He also has a background in chemistry and in pharmacology.
